Hi! I am Elizabeth Pittoors and I have been doing technical theater for 7 years. My main focuses are on Stage Management and Costume Design but I have also worked with lighting, sound, set design, and almost anything our productions needed. I fell in love with the theater world when I started working on my first production in 7th grade. Since then I have enjoyed the opportunity to work on over 20 productions at the Orange County School of the Arts. From small jobs working backstage to stage managing Legally Blonde the Musical, I have learned how to collaborate with others backstage and onstage and how to make dreams become a reality. At SDSU I plan to continue my education in Technical Theater and gain more experience on larger scale productions.
Education
At OCSA, I spent 6 years working with students older and younger to put on musicals, plays, dance shows, and many more live productions. I learned how to work as a team, both being in groups as well as leading other students.
At SDSU, I have been taking theater classes and working with larger scale theater productions work. I have learned how to work with a team of designers and shop managers to put on a show. I stage managed The House of Bernarda Alba, my first show at SDSU in Spring 2024.
